Overview
REFRAMD Fit is designed with privacy as a default. Your face scan data is processed on your device and never transmitted to external servers. We do not create user accounts, track your activity, or share your personal information with third parties.

1. Data We Collect and How We Use It
Face Geometry Data
REFRAMD Fit uses your iPhone's TrueDepth camera and Apple's ARKit framework to measure facial dimensions — including face width, bridge width, pupillary distance, and temple length. This processing happens entirely on your device in real time. We do not store raw face images or face geometry data on any server. Apple's own ARKit framework governs how TrueDepth sensor data is accessed; we do not receive or store the underlying depth map or facial mesh beyond the derived numerical measurements.
Face geometry data is used exclusively for computing fit measurements during an active scan session and is not used for facial recognition, identity verification, or any other purpose.
Measurement Profile
The numerical measurements generated by a scan (e.g., PD in millimetres, face width in millimetres) are saved locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
Frame Recommendation Data
Frame catalogues and fit scores are computed locally using data bundled with the app. No information about which frames you view or how you interact with recommendations is collected or transmitted.

2. Data You Choose to Share
If you use the Share or Save feature to export your fit profile by email, the content of that email (your measurements and fit profile) is transmitted via your device's standard mail system. REFRAMD does not receive a copy of this email. You control who you send it to.

3. Data We Do Not Collect
• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
• We do not use advertising identifiers or analytics SDKs
• We do not track your location
• We do not share any data with third-party advertisers or data brokers
• We do not transmit face geometry, face images, or biometric identifiers to any server

4. Apple Frameworks
REFRAMD Fit uses Apple's ARKit and TrueDepth camera APIs. Apple's use of sensor hardware is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy. Face scan processing performed by ARKit occurs entirely on-device under Apple's secure enclave protections.

5. Children's Privacy
REFRAMD Fit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your fit profile is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by deleting the app. Uninstalling REFRAMD Fit removes all locally stored measurements.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify users via the App Store update notes.
